Listening and winning

One thing about listening to the radio, is that there's always a sweepstakes or contest to enter. Whether you're winning free tickets to the latest classic rocker aging revival tour, or a weekend at a local music festival, or a limo ride with a raucous band of rowdy hipster stars, listening to the radio can open up a lot of opportunities to win super-fun stuff that is geared towards your interests.

The thing is, if you listen to a given station, you're already into whatever sort of giveaway that station is likely to have. Your favorite hard rock station isn't getting access to Cher tickets for their listeners, y'know? And that NPR jazz affiliate doesn't have access to Tom Petty. So you can be assured that prizes are targeted to your tastes.

If you live in a major market like New York or Los Angeles, competition can be steep, but in smaller radio market areas, there might not even be that much competition. So go ahead and be the eleventh caller!
